Sunday at the Confluence
The annual Reedsport Confluence celebration and wine tasting had to fight both rain and wind this year — that was until Soulpie rocked the house. The South Coast’s headlining band did not disappoint as music, vocals and talent combined all afternoon. With just a few weeks before Jazzfest 2014 the Nikons are ready for action…!!
A Fresh Cut for Birthday Boy..!!
Logan Curran gets a trim for his 6th birthday at the Coquille Barber Shop. Logan’s birthday plans include the movie “Legos” plus friends from his Kindergarten class. Plenty of good times ahead for this young man..!!
Meet Baby Bear..!
I was photographing the Lena Family’s new baby boy — nicknamed Bear. Although the sun was lacking today I had to appreciate the saturation and composition opportunities. Congratulations to Kevin & Amanda and I’m sure we will be seeing more of Baby Bear in later posts…!!!
A Night of Talent & Elegance…!!
The 2014 Miss Coos County Pageant took place last night at SOCC’s theater with over $30,000 worth of scholarships being awarded to the participants. Miss Coos County 2014 was Rande Jones with Kaila Tripp being named as Second Finalist. Parker Stocker was named 2014 Coos County Teen along with Emma Servin as Princess. Additional honors and scholarships were won by Kenzie Basey, Elissa Kilmer and Carolee Hefner. It was an amazing night and all 2014 participants gave fantastic performances.
