Evidently, this year’s tomato crop did not get enough sun. Even so, I have a bumper crop of green cherry tomatoes. I will have to “vine” ripen them inside. Hopefully, they still taste their usual…delicious.
With the October chill in the air, it surprising that the tomatoes are still ripe on the vine. I was especially happy with today’s harvest, considering a ground squirrel made off with the purple potatoes
Trying to pick the best cover crop for the cold winter. Oats and peas will probably win out this year–due to pressing time constraints. The sheep will have a more diverse menu in ’23.
